We process this data to provide you with access, run auctions and inform you about bids and results (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Log data on sign-in attempts is processed to prevent unauthorised access, and aggregated usage analysis to improve the platform (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Recipients

Within MKAA, your data is made available only to those departments involved in vehicle trading. In addition, we use service providers for hosting and email delivery who act for us as processors. No transfer to third countries outside the EU takes place.

If you are awarded a vehicle belonging to another dealer, we pass on the data required for settlement to that dealer.

6. Retention period

Account and usage data is stored for the duration of the business relationship. Thereafter it is deleted or its processing restricted, subject to commercial and tax retention obligations. Data on completed sales is retained for the statutory period. Log data on sign-in attempts is deleted regularly after a short period.
